Sparklers for Eid
Sparklers are the simplest and most family-friendly Eid firework — gold or coloured-flame, 10 to 18 inches long, burning for 45 to 90 seconds depending on the pack. They’re ideal for the younger cousins, for photos of the kids on Eid night, and for anyone who wants to be part of the display without setting off a firework themselves. Hold sparklers at arm’s length, keep them away from clothing, and drop them straight into a bucket of water once they’ve burnt out — they stay hot long after the flame goes. Sparklers are not recommended for children under five.
Fountains for Eid
Fountains sit on the ground, light from a single fuse, and produce a steady column of coloured sparks for 30 seconds up to two minutes. They’re the right choice for smaller gardens, for families with young children or elderly guests, and for terraced streets where you want something visually rich without heavy aerial noise. Fountains need a 5-metre safety clearance on all sides — measure your garden before you buy a larger one.
Rockets for Eid
Rockets give you height and impact — a skyward burst, a loud report, and a proper “look up” moment for the family. They suit larger gardens and open spaces where you’ve got clearance above and around the launch point. Our Bargain Rocket Deal at £100 is a strong-value multi-pack entry point; for a premium single rocket experience, Cyber Attack by Encrypted (£64.99) punches above its price tag.
Barrages and Compound Cakes
Barrages and compound cakes are the centrepiece of a serious Eid display. A barrage fires a sequence of aerial shots from a single fuse — one ignition, then 20 to 100 shots running automatically across 30 to 90 seconds. A compound cake is a larger version of the same format, combining multiple effects, colours, and stages into a two to four-minute display from a single light. This is what you buy if you want one product that delivers the “peak moment” of Eid night without any choreography — you light it, step back, and it runs itself.
Selection Boxes for Eid
Selection boxes bundle a mixed range of fireworks — fountains, Roman candles, sparklers, smaller cakes — into one curated purchase. They’re the easiest way to buy if you want variety without choosing each item individually, and they’re a good introduction for first-time Eid buyers who aren’t sure where to start.
Eid Fireworks in Bradford and Newcastle
Top Shotter runs two permanent fireworks shops. If you’re local — or you’re leaving it close to Eid and don’t want to rely on a delivery window — both stores carry the full Eid range and you can walk out with your fireworks the same day.
Bradford: 53 Westgate, BD1 2RD — 07440 683691
Newcastle: 269 Shields Road, NE6 1DQ — 07704 473918
Bradford has one of the UK’s largest Muslim communities, and our Westgate shop is five minutes from the city centre and the main mosque areas. Newcastle’s Shields Road store sits in the heart of the city’s South Asian and Muslim community, with easy access from Byker, Heaton, and the wider East End. Both stores are permanent year-round retail premises — the same stores that have earned 615+ five-star Google reviews across both locations combined.
If you want to see the products before you buy — weigh up a compound cake in your hand, talk through what works for your garden size, or ask about Klarna — walk in and ask. No appointment needed. No other top-ranking Eid fireworks retailer in the UK has a physical shop north of Birmingham.
When Can You Buy and Set Off Fireworks for Eid?
Two practical questions worth covering — because no other UK Eid fireworks retailer addresses them clearly, and both matter.
Can you legally buy Eid fireworks in the UK?
Yes. Consumer fireworks are legal to buy in the UK from any licensed retailer, for anyone aged 18 or over. The standard public retail sale windows in the UK run around Bonfire Night (15 October–10 November), New Year’s Eve (26–31 December), and the three days before Diwali and Chinese New Year. Eid falls outside these standard windows — which means the legal UK source for Eid fireworks is a licensed year-round retailer. Top Shotter holds the appropriate licence to sell fireworks outside the standard consumer windows, which is why our Eid range is available year-round online and in both stores.
What time can you legally set off fireworks on Eid?
The standard UK fireworks curfew is 11pm on any night of the year — with extensions on four specific nights (Bonfire Night, New Year’s Eve, Diwali, and Chinese New Year). Eid is not on the extended-curfew list. That means the 11pm curfew applies: consumer fireworks can be set off on Eid evening up until 11pm, after which they become illegal. Plan your main display for the hour or two after Maghrib prayer on Eid eve or Eid night — you’ll have a clear legal window and your neighbours will thank you for wrapping up at a reasonable hour. Let the street know in advance if you’re in a terraced or shared-garden setting.
These curfew rules are set by The Fireworks Regulations 2004 (as amended).
Eid Fireworks Safety
Every firework on this page is UKCA or CE marked, meaning it meets UK consumer safety standards. No licence is required to buy or use consumer-grade fireworks — but the safety distances are non-negotiable.
- Category F2 consumer fireworks: minimum 8-metre safety distance from spectators
- Category F3 consumer fireworks: minimum 25-metre safety distance — the larger compound cakes in our premium tier are typically F3, so check the label and measure your garden before you buy at this level
- Minimum age: 18 to buy, store, or possess consumer fireworks in a public place
- Appoint one operator: one adult lights the fireworks, reads the instructions in advance, and keeps everyone else at the safety distance
- Children and sparklers: not for under fives. Children five and over should wear gloves, hold sparklers at arm’s length, and be supervised at all times
- Keep a bucket of water or sand within reach for spent fireworks and sparklers
- Never return to a lit firework — if it hasn’t gone off, leave it for 30 minutes then soak it in water
Supervise sparklers closely when children are involved — they burn at around 1,000°C and cause the majority of minor firework injuries every year. That’s not a reason to avoid them; it’s a reason to treat them with the same care as any other firework.

Frequently Asked Questions About Eid Fireworks
Many Muslim families in the UK and around the world mark Eid al-Fitr with private fireworks displays as part of their family gathering — usually after Maghrib prayer on Eid eve or on the evening of Eid day itself. It’s a celebratory tradition, not a religious obligation. Sparklers, fountains, rockets and barrages are all commonly used.
Most UK Eid fireworks displays start after Maghrib prayer (sunset) on Eid eve or Eid night, once the family has gathered and the main meal is over. The UK legal curfew for consumer fireworks is 11pm on Eid — Eid is not on the extended-curfew list — so plan your main display between sunset and 11pm.
Eid al-Fitr 2026 was observed on 30 March 2026, subject to moon sighting. Eid al-Adha 2026 is expected around 27 May 2026. Eid al-Fitr 2027 is expected around 20 March 2027. These dates shift each year as they follow the Islamic lunar calendar and are confirmed by moon sighting in the days before.
Yes. Top Shotter sells Eid fireworks online year-round with UK-wide delivery — free on orders over £300, Klarna available at checkout. You can also collect in-store from our Bradford shop (53 Westgate, BD1 2RD) or Newcastle shop (269 Shields Road, NE6 1DQ), both open year-round for same-day collection.
Yes. Private garden fireworks for Eid are legal in the UK for adults aged 18 and over, using consumer-grade (Category F2 or F3) fireworks that are UKCA or CE marked. Standard rules apply: 11pm curfew on Eid, respect safety distances (8 metres for F2, 25 metres for F3), and let your neighbours know in advance in terraced or shared-garden settings.
For a smaller family garden, a mid-tier barrage like Cyanide (£71.99) or Delirious (£79.99) plus a pack of sparklers gives you a complete 5 to 8 minute display. For larger gardens and bigger gatherings, a compound cake like Beast Thy Neighbour (£129.99) or Anonymous (£199.99) as the centrepiece delivers the “everyone come outside” peak moment of Eid night. Sparklers and fountains are the safest choice for younger children.
Entry-tier Eid barrages start from £24.99 (Blocker by Encrypted). A full family garden display runs £65 to £200. A centrepiece compound cake display for a larger Eid gathering runs £200 to £350+. Sparklers start from around £5 per pack. Orders over £300 qualify for free UK delivery.
Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan — the month of fasting — and is the more celebration-focused of the two Eids, with family feasts, gifts for children, and private fireworks displays common in the UK. Eid al-Adha (the Festival of Sacrifice) falls roughly two months later, is more solemn and observance-focused, and is centred on prayer, charity, and the Qurbani sacrifice. The Eid fireworks on this page suit either celebration, though most UK family displays happen on Eid al-Fitr.
