FIREWORK CODE OF SAFETY

At Top Shotter Fireworks, we take safety very seriously. We want all our customers to have a safe and enjoyable experience when using fireworks. That’s why we strongly advocate for following the firework safety code. Here’s what you need to know:

Plan Ahead

Plan your firework display in advance and make sure you have all the necessary safety equipment, such as a bucket of water, safety goggles, and gloves.

Choose a Safe Location

Choose a location that is safe and suitable for fireworks. Ensure that there are no flammable materials nearby, such as dry grass, and that there is ample space for fireworks to be set off without risk of injury or property damage.

Follow the Instructions

Always read the instructions on the firework packaging before lighting them. This will help you understand how to properly set up and light the fireworks.

Light Fireworks at Arm’s Length

Light fireworks at arm’s length with a taper or a lighting device, and then quickly move away. Never return to a firework that has been lit, even if it appears to be a dud.

Keep Spectators at a Safe Distance

Ensure that spectators are at a safe distance away from the fireworks. Children should never be allowed to handle fireworks and should be always supervised.

Dispose of Fireworks Safely

Once a firework has been used, dispose of it safely by soaking it in water before placing it in a bin.

Be Prepared for Emergencies

Keep a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby in case of an emergency. If someone is injured by fireworks, seek medical help immediately.
